Choose your own PIN

From 4 June 2008, when you make a purchase on your Wizard Clear Advantage MasterCard, you’ll have the choice of signing or entering your PIN when verifying your transaction. To make it easier for you, it’s now possible to create your own PIN with a simple phone call. So if you’re having trouble remembering your existing PIN, simply call us to choose your own! Remember, you’ll need a PIN number if you’re travelling overseas or need to withdraw cash.

Call us today to create your own PIN

Follow these easy steps:

  1. Call 1300 559 082
  2. Have your card number ready and follow the operator prompts
  3. Choose and enter your own 4 digit PIN

To make your PIN more secure:

  • Don’t select a PIN that uses your birth date, or an alphabetical or numeric code, which is a recognisable part of your name or address.
  • Don’t select a PIN which has sequential numbers, e.g. '1234' or where all numbers are the same, e.g. '1111'.
  • Select a PIN that’s easily remembered only to you, without needing to write it down.

For your security, never:

  1. Write down or record your PIN or PIN change reference number.
  2. Save your PIN to a mobile phone, computer, organiser or other device.
  3. Write down or record a disguised PIN, for example, by reversing the numbers.

If you don’t follow these instructions, in the event of loss or theft, you may be held liable for any unauthorised transactions on your account. If your card or PIN is lost or stolen, please notify us immediately.

‡Cash advances are charged interest from the date of withdrawal. See your contract for further details of when interest free days applies.
